I’m Here to Help

I’ve been tutoring students in English-related things for several years now. At Texas A&M, I worked at the University Writing Center, helping undergraduate and graduate students on all sorts of assignments: from entry-level rhetorical analyses to graduate level published articles—and even a few dissertations.

I’ve been working alongside high schoolers on exam prep for a year and have successfully helped all of my students raise their scores: on the SAT, by hundreds of points, on the ACT, by several points. I get it, these tests are always stressful, sometimes stupid, and usually confusing—but they’re also really important.

I’d like to demystify these looming exams for you. My strategy is to break them down, so you can identify what the test writers actually want you to know. Then, with some supplemental content knowledge and a clear strategy for test day, you’ll reach your full potential.
